I’m Charlotte, Research & Operations Director at Hyjan with a degree in History and English and a decade of experience in property research and genealogy.

I joined as a Junior Researcher in March 2017, progressed to senior Genealogist and now Research & Operations Director. My experience spans the entire research process, from tracing family connections and untangling complex property ownership to developing research strategies and driving innovative ways of identifying new opportunities for the business.

I particularly enjoy the challenge of bringing together information, following the evidence and cracking a difficult case. No two days are the same here, and this is what makes my job so rewarding!

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me enjoying a good pizza, planning my next trip or snuggled up on the sofa with my dog.
